Welcome to my personal website! My name is Charlotte Macy and I was born in Sarasota, Florida in 1972 and I grew up in Port Charlotte, Florida. I'm married to a super duper stud hunk of a guy and we have 5 beautiful and good kids (Lewis the oldest boy, Ayanna the oldest girl, Douglas the middle child, Mckenna & Alexandra twin girls) and our pet beagle dog (Benji Brown)! My husband's name is Porter William Macy (Not the actor) and he's a plastic surgeon in Sarasota. And no he's not from Beverly Hills or Los Angeles, but he's from Seattle and Detroit:) We both love fishing and sports! He's a big Michigan and Detroit sports fan. You should see his sports room! The entire room is Detroit Lion's wallpaper and memorabilia everywhere! He's slowly becoming a fan of more Florida teams, but he does support our local simi-pro baseball team, the Port Charlotte Redfish!!! It helps that Cecil Fielder is the head coach because Cecil Fielder was a great power hitting first baseman and DH for the Detroit Tigers, Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees. He hit 51 homeruns in 1990 with the Tigers!!! It's too bad the Port Charlotte Redfish don't play anymore, but it was fun while it lasted! To replace the Port Charlotte Redfish games and put use to the stadium, the Tampa Bay Rays spring training games will be played there starting in 2009 once Charlotte County's workers get done remodeling the old Port Charlotte Sports Complex were the Charlotte and Texas Rangers use to play.

We live in Port Charlotte and our house was hit hard by Hurricane Charley in August of 2004. Hurricane Charlie was predicted to hit the North Tampa area, but it took a last-minute super hard right hand turn into North Charlotte Harbor and did a direct hit through the cities of Punta Gorda, North Port and Port Charlotte. Hurricane Charley was a strong Category 4 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale. Our town of Port Charlotte needed an extreme makeover and facelift after the hurricane. Luckily, things look much better now, but the real estate market in Lee and Charlotte county took a major hit for the worse. The good news is that in the past few years since the 2004 hurricane season, there have been no major threats to Florida with hurricanes.

Not many people know about Port Charlotte and we only have a small handful of semi-famous people that have come from the Port Charlotte area. This list would include Chris Demakes (The "Less Than Jake" ska band) lived in Port Charlotte, John Hall (NFL Pro kicker from the Washington Redskins and New York Jets) grew up in Port Charlotte, Joey Eischen (MLB Pro Relief Pitcher for Montreal Expos, Ottawa Lynx (Minor League Team), Sussex Skyhawks (Minor League Team) Los Angeles Dodgers, Detroit Tigers, Cincinnati Reds and Washington Nationals) always visits the Englewood and North Port Charlotte area, Peter Warrick (Fourth overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, NFL Wide Receiver for the Cincinnati Bangles, Seattle Seahawks and AFL WR for the Las Vegas Gladiators) grew up in Bradenton's Sarasota County and went to Southeast High School, Anthony Henry (He played college football at the University of South Florida and was selected in the fourth round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, now plays for the Dallas Cowboys and my husband played against him in high school when he went to Lemon Bay) was born in Fort Myers and went to Estero High School, Edgerrin James (The Indianapolis Colts selected James in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft with the fourth overall pick, 1999 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press, NFL rushing title in his first two seasons, now plays RB for the Arizona Cardinals, established the Edgerrin James Foundation, James appears in Trick Daddy's music video songs and is a member of the 10,000 Rushing Yards Club) born in Immokalee and went to Immokalee High School, Jevon Kearse (First round draft pick out of the University of Florida, AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1999, Multi Pro Bowl DE, NFL All Pro DE for the Philadelphia Eagles and Tennessee Titans, Rookie record breaking performance with 14.5 sacks, cousin is Phillip Buchanon cornerback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers) grew up in North Fort Myers's Lee County and went to North Fort Myers HIgh School, Deion Sanders (First round pick from Florida State, NFL All Pro CB for the Atlanta Falcons, San Fransisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens, Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys, MLB player and outfielder for the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, San Francisco Giants and New York Yankees, partial owner of the Arena Football League Austin Wranglers, NFL Network analyst host, only man to play in both a Super Bowl and World Series, 1994 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, NFL Record Holder for having 19 defensive and return touchdowns in a NFL season, only man ever to score a touchdown and hit a home run in the same week in two major sports, Ran a 4.17 40 yard dash at Florida State University Pro Day) grew up in Fort Myers Lee County and went to North Fort Myers High School, Fabian Washington (1st round draft pick at the 2005 NFL Draft from University of Nebraska, plays cornerback for the Oakland Raiders and recorded the fastest 40 yard dash time results at the 2005 NFL Combine with a time of 4.29 seconds) went to Bayshore High School in Bradenton, Anthony "Tony" Hargrove (NFL Pro DE from the St. Louis Rams and Buffalo Bills) grew up in Port Charlotte's Charlotte County and Cecil Fielder (Head Coach of the Port Charlotte Redfish and is an ex-MLB baseball player for the Detroit Tigers, Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees) lives in Port Charlotte's Charlotte County. We do have a bunch of famous people that visit all the time and own homes around the Sarasota and Charlotte County area. People include Dick "Dickie V" Vitale (Sarasota), Wayne Rooney (Port Charlotte), Robbie Savage (Port Charlotte), Bob Vila (Boca Grande), The Bush Family (Boca Grande) and of course Michael Jordan (Sarasota). And yes, MJ was and will always be the best NBA basketball player to ever live!!! Sorry, Lebron James and Kobe Bryant! The famous, but not so famous people that lived in this area were Mohamed Atta, Marwan Al-Shehhi and Ziad Jarrah. They were 3 of the September 11th 2001 terrorist attack Al-Qaeda hijackers and they lived in Venice (Shark's Tooth Capital of the World) for a small period of time to take flight training lessons at the Venice Municipal Airport (Huffman Aviation). I'll never forget that day! President Bush was speaking at an event in Sarasota that day and I was driving up to the Tampa International Airport to pick up some friends. I could not believe what happened!

We love saltwater fishing, freshwater fishing, Fly Fishing, Deep Sea, watching sports (Football, Baseball and Basketball), playing sports (softball & volleyball), playing fantasy sports (Fantasy Football and Baseball), shopping at the local mall (Pt. Charlotte Town Center Mall) and shopping online at the best online mall - The ClubShop Online Mall!

FISHING - I fish everywhere you could imagine! You can always find me and my hubby fishing on my kayak fishing canoe or my new 18 foot Boston Whaler boat in Charlotte Harbor tire reef between markers 1 & 2, Charlotte Harbor artificial reef modules concrete reefballs, Lemon Bay, Ship Steel crewboat danger artificial reef, Tremblay reef barge, Stump Pass Mile Reef, Palm Island Barge Steel Reef, Sarasota's M-60 Army Tank Reef, Lynn Silvertooth reef, Boca's Concrete Piling Reef, Englewood Fish Haven Bridge Rubble Reef, Palm Island Ship Ferry Reef, Novak Concrete Culvert artificial reefs, Charlotte County Stadium Lakes, Port Charlotte Beach, Boca Grande Pass (Tarpon capitol of the world), The Gulf of Mexico, Peace River Bridge, Charlotte County Sports Complex Lakes, Englewood Beach, Mayakka River, Black Tip Pointe, Off Knight & Palm Island, Marco Island, Snook Haven, Cabbage Key, Turtle Bay, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Manasota Beach, the mouth of the Mayakka, Amberjack Cove Waterway, Catfish Creek, Tom Adams Bridge, Don Pedro Island, Placida Harbor Point, Salt Flat Ponds, Burnt Store Isles, Duffy's Golf Course Lake, Fiddler's Green Golf Course Ponds, Interceptor Lagoon, Boca Grande Causeway Bridge, Rotunda Pinemoore Golf Course Lakes, Turtle Bay, Van Lake, Hog Island, Off Little Gasparilla Island, Reel Big Fish Island, Bird Key, South Gulf Cove Canals, Rotonda Lakes, Boca Grande Phosphate Docks, Stump Pass, Bull Bay, Off Pine Island, El Jobean Bridge, Venice Jetties and just about any place in Sarasota, Lee or Charlotte County. As you can tell, I know my local fishing holes and spots! Nothing is better then hauling a nice sized and legal snook or redfish while listening to Good Charlotte on my MP3 while the sun is setting! I need the lyrics to a few of their songs!!!

SHOPPING - Besides fishing being one of my favorite things to do, I love shopping! I wish it was my job! I don't care if I'm shopping online at the ClubShop Online Shopping Mall or shopping in Port Charlotte's Town Center Shopping Mall because they're both fun to me (Yes, this is the mall where Craig Monroe got caught stealing a belt from a Port Charlotte Mall department store. Craig Monroe is a MLB baseball player for the Chicago Cubs and was once a minor league baseball player for the Port Charlotte Rangers). I even like window shopping for hours and hours:) To save money, I would rather shop online at the ClubShop Online Mall Why? I earn reward points for every purchase I make in the ClubShop Online Mall and I can take my reward points and turn them in for a cash back rebate or a gift card! It's a win-win situation! I'm not saying the shopping or even window shopping at the Pt. Charlotte Mall is bad. It does get me out of the house and I do get a little exercise by walking around the mall from store to store. For some odd reason I love eating at the food court at the Port Charlotte Mall. Subway (Eat Fresh), Sam Seltzer's Steakhouse (Great NY Strips), Ruby Tuesday, Chick-fil-A (Eat More Chikin and less beef), Sbarro Pizza, Starbucks Coffee, Athens Grecian Delight, Bourbon Street Grill, Charley's Grilled Subs & Mr. Wu's are my favorite places to eat when I'm at the Port Charlotte Mall food court. If I don't eat at the Port Charlotte Mall, then Hooters (Hooters buffalo shrimp and wings rock), TGIFs (Jack daniels meat tower), Chilis (two for one drinks and baby back ribs), Olive Garden (My girls love their bread sticks), Red Lobster (Lobsteria drink is good), Sonny's Real Pit BBQ (The best white chicken breast meat in town), Joe Cracker (The best charlotte russe or rousse dessert) and Applebee's is right across the street! I think the Port Charlotte Town Center Mall is a Simon Mall and most Simon Malls also come with a movie theater! I think the one at the Port Charlotte Mall is a Regal 16 Cinema and having a mall with a movie theater is always a plus. Another plus is there are a few stores at the Port Charlotte Mall and other Simon Malls that aren't in the ClubShop Online Mall. Simon and Port Charlotte stores that aren't online in the ClubShop Mall are Sunglass Hut, Lids, Dillards Department Store, JC Penneys Department Store, Victoria's Secret, Kay Jewelers, Marks & Morgan Jewelers, Hollister, Gamestop, Champs Sports, DSW Shoe Warehouse, Rave Clothing Store, Rack Room Shoes, Dollar Plus Store, Spencer Gifts, Edison Army & Navy Store, Team Choice Sports Store, 5-7-9 Shop, Christopher & Banks, Rave and Wet Seal. Luckily, I don't shop at most of these stores that often, but I still window shop them all. I wish there was a Dooney Burke outlet store! There might be one in the Ellenton Mall, Sarasota Westfield Mall or Florida Mall in Orlando.

SPORTS - I'm also a big sports fan and I'm always going to pro, college, high school and pop warner football sporting events to support my favorite Florida teams (Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Port Charlotte Redfish, Tampa Bay Bucs, Tampa Bay Lightning, Miami Dolphins, Orlando Magic, University of South Florida Bulls (USF), Manatee Community College Lancers MCC), Florida Marlins, Florida State Seminoles (FSU), Jacksonville Jags, University of Miami Hurricanes, Orlando Predators, Florida Firecats, Port Charlotte Pirates, Lemon Bay Manta Rays, Charlotte Tarpons, University of Central Florida Golden Knights (UCF), Venice Indians, Heritage Christian Academy Cougars, North Port Bobcats, Englewood Lions, Englewood Wildcats, Florida Panthers, Englewood Panthers, Sarasota Knights, Port Charlotte Bandits, Englewood Tigers & Venice Vikings). I can't wait until the Tampa Bay Devil Rays start doing their spring training games at the Port Charlotte Sports Complex Stadium! I remember when the Texas Rangers use to play their spring training games their and the Port Charlotte Rangers used to play there! I saw so many MLB players play there like Roberto Alomar, Kevin Brown, Jorge Bell, George Brett, Harold Baines, Wade Boggs, Ellis Burks, Barry Bonds, Will Clark, Jose Canseco, Roger Clemens, Rob Deer, Eric Davis, Julio Franco, Cecil Fielder, Kelly Gruber, Rich "Goose" Gossage, Mike Greenwell, Tom Henke, Pete Incaviglia, Bo Jackson, Todd Jones, Ron Jones, Michael Jordan, Barry Larkin, Jamie Moyer, Craig Monroe, Jose Mesa, Jeff Montgomery, Oddibe McDowell, Randy Myers, Fred McGriff, Matt Nokes, Pete O'Brien, Pete O'Brian, Lance Parrish, Rafael Palmeiro, Dean Palmer, Ivan Rodriguez, Nolan Ryan, Jose Rijo, Jeff Russell, Kenny Rogers, Tim "Rock" Raines, Jim Rice, Cal Ripken Jr., Sammy Sosa, Mike Schmidt, Juan Samuel, Ruben Sierra, Alan Trammell, Todd Van Popple, Bobby Witt, John Wetteland, Duane Ward, Willie Wilson, Lou Whitaker and even saw President George W. Bush in the stands during one game! President Bush was the Governor of Texas and was part owner of the Rangers team at the time, but it was odd seeing him a few rows from us. As you can tell, I love supporting my local Port Charlotte and Englewood Florida sport teams!!! Nothing is better than going to a ball game, ball park hot dog in one hand and a nice ice cold coke in the other while singing the National Anthem. One of my favorite places to watch the games besides my own home is at the End Zone sports bar and grill in Englewood! They have great pizza, cold frosty beer and yummy wings! My favorite non-Florida pro sport players include Karl Mecklenburg, Calvin Johnson, Sam Perkins, Jim Gilman, Doyle Brunson (Is Poker a sport?), Shawn Kemp (Early 90s Kemp), Brandon Stokely, Randy Stokley, Mark Martin, Mike Alstott, Daunte Culpepper, Fabian Washington, Brett Favre of the Green Bay Packers, Jon Kitna, Joe Dumars, Deion Sanders, Javon Kearse, Roosevelt Colvin, Mitch Richmond, Peter Warwick, Laveranues Coles, Tiger Woods, Dwight Howard, Dan Marino, Sean Taylor, Fred McCrary, Jason Bay, Mike Weir, Evelyn Ng, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, Phillip Buchanan, Chauncey Billups, Muhammad Ali, Javy Lopez, Karina Jett, Chip Jett, Chris Bell, Aaron Ross and the late great Walter Payton.

How did you find out about ClubShop Rewards?
I work for the ClubShop Mall! Before the ClubShop Mall I worked for Bank of America and did Banc of America investment services. I was really successful doing that, but I didn't have a passion for the job so I decided to do something with shopping stuff. My real passion! ClubShop.com is an online company located in Englewood, Floirda on Placida Road (By the Faull Inn, The Egg & I Restaurant, Lemon Bay High School and Juniors Lounge Bar). We've had press releases and articles about ClubShop in the Charlotte Sun Herald, Englewood Times Observer, Venice Gondolier and USA Today. Englewood is in North Charlotte County Florida, located between Port Charlotte and Sarasota, Florida. ClubShop also has an offline Rewards Card that can be used to save money at local ClubShop Reward Merchant Businesses.

The ClubShop Online Mall has all the stores and more that you can find at the Port Charlotte Town Center Mall, Sarasota Square Mall, Florida International Mall and even the Mall of America located in Minnesota. Online Stores in the ClubShop Online Mall include Best Buy, Circuit City, Amazon, Dell, Home Depot, Office Depot, Rooms To Go Furniture Store, KB Toys, Kohls, Macys (They got apple bottom jeans), Nordstroms, Old Navy, Pac Sun (The best string bikini brands and sales), Gap, Restaurant.com gift certificates, Walmart, Kmart, Zales (Diamonds are a lady's best friend), Zappos, Expedia, Petsmart, Orbitz, Starbucks (I Love coffee), Upper Deck Store, Bass Pro Shop, Sports Authority, Sears, Foot Locker, Nascar Store, Priceline, Ace Hardware, Good Sams Club, Adidas, VolleyBall Market, Pro Sports Memorabilia, Pet Food Direct, Payless Shoe Source, Montgomery Ward, Frederick's of Hollywood, Apple, Florist.com, Callaway Golf Clubs, Golf Card International, Aeropostale (The best jeans), Drug Store, Bealls, Avon, Boscovs, Hilton Hotels, Marriott Hotels, Chadwicks of Boston, Disney Store, ESPN Shop and Brylane to name a few. Getting to these online stores is only a click away with my computer compared to walking around the Port Charlotte Florida Town Center Mall. I'm not complaining about the Port Charlotte Town Center Mall because I love shopping and even window shopping at the Port Charlotte Mall, but during the Christmas season it's total havoc at the Port Charlotte Town Center Mall and Port Charlotte Promenades Mall. I'll stick to my ClubShop Online Mall during the holiday season!!!
