My name is Betty Hicks. I live in Tampa, FL with my partner, Bill. I have two parakeets named Princess and Ernie, a cockatiel named Dude and a dog named Lucky. I traveled and lived in several places before settling down and retiring in Tampa, Fl.
I started off my adult life Washington DC where I worked for the telephone company In Warner Robbins, Georgia. I trained to be an optician. I lived in the Philippine Islands for four and one half years. Later, I managed the optical shop at Mac Dill AF Base in Tampa, FL., and then went to college at the age of 53. I became a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in 1993. I worked at that field until May 2000 when a patient fell on me and messed up my back. I have four discs involved and the doctors won't operate due to so many injured at one time. So now I am disabled.
My four children are no longer at home. I have seven grandchildren and eleven great-grand children. We are spread all over the country but still try to stay close by e-mail and phone calls.
Lucky for me, I have meet one of the nicest men in the whole world. His name is Bill and he is my soul mate. We do everything together and he helps me in any way that I need him to. We were praying for a way to be able to go see the kids more often. When I received the first e-mail from DHS, I was apprehensive. I had been involved with other groups that promised the world and then dropped us on our heads after they had got our money. But DHS was free and they promised a business for hard work. I’m very happy that we joined. I am proud to say that I am growing as a person as well as financially from being involved with the company. I have attended the conventions, received a lot training and met Mr. Burke and the great group who make up DHS. I am raring to build my network and to follow the yellow brick road.
How did you find out about ClubShop Rewards?
Received several E-mails from someone in my upline.
What were your initial concerns about upgrading your membership to become a Partner?
The money to be paid out. Would I get the proper training or be dropped on my head to fend for myself? I also thought the computer training the e-mails were talking about would be way over my head.
How did you overcome those concerns to upgrade and become a Partner?
I decided thatI really had nothing to lose with the 30 day money back guarantee. I really needed to start a home business since I couldn't work after being disabled. I joined and went to my first convention to see what was going on.
What do you like about ClubShop Rewards?
This is a real company with real people. I saw the president and founder at the convention and felt welcome and needed. My disability would not be a problem and the training is laid out so anyone can understand it. When I asked my first question I had two people in the upline there ready and willing to help me. The Malls are very easy to use and I was on my way.
What's your vision on how you're going to help your future Partner Membership succeed?
Teach them to duplicate what the training teaches and work to answer any and all questions.
