After a full time career in the UK Armed Forces I retired at the age of 40 and took to selling Life Insurance, Pension Plans and General Insurances. I then worked for a number of years as chief cashier in a city law firm when an interesting opportunity presented itself working in logistics with exports worldwide. Redundancy created another career change and I moved into stock management for a high profile computer company. I got laid off again and I found my way into another law firm as a Trusts Manager with additional responsibilities of administration of Power of Attorney matters. I now live in semi retirement on the island of Crete in Greece. Having had responsibility for the control and management of considerable sums of trust monies, budget analysis and a continued interest in trustee affairs it became a natural progression to be involved with charitable fund raising.
How did you find out about ClubShop Rewards?
One day I received a curious email that took my attention, it offered me a business opportunity with what was then known as the DHS Club. I responded and found myself drawn into something very interesting. I discovered that the E-Business Institute was a total fascination and I soon came to realise that the more I understood about DHS Club the more I wanted to know. At that time the ClubShop Rewards and Glocal Income programmes were only at the planning stage.
What were your initial concerns about upgrading your membership to become a Partner?
Although I really wanted a home business that I could do, like many people, I thought it could be some sort of very ingenious scam. At that time we didn't have the 30 day trial period with a money back guarantee. So, I resolved to try it for just 3 months only. I discovered in that time how wrong my initial impression had been.
How did you overcome those concerns to upgrade and become a Partner?
In England we have saying "in for a penny in for a pound" it wasn't just a situation of overcoming concerns. I just sort of sensed that this was something quite different. You only have to see the quality of the personal portal and websites, the systems for purchasing goods and services, the way you get your commission every month on time and the business reports updated several times a day, to know this is something very special.
